Personal Training

Why have a personal trainer?

Has your doctor or physical therapist ever recommended an exercise, proper nutrition and stress reduction, few people engage sufficiently in any of these. Exercise has shown to improve medical outcomes in chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, coronary artery disease and obesity. However, few people know how to begin a safe and effective exercise program that their doctor has prescribed. That’s where our certified personal training staff at Associated Neurologists Medical Fitness Center can help you.

Our personal training staff has a background in evaluating individuals referred to us by their physicians or physical therapist for design and supervision of the ideal exercise program. The $65.00 mandatory 60minute assessment includes:

  • Exercise History
  • Range-of-motion evaluation
  • Base line measurements of girth, body fat, body mass index, blood pressure and weight
  • Balance
  • Sleep Patterns
  • Core Strength
  • Nutrition baseline evaluation
  • Updates to Phase IV programs
  • Short and long term goals

Once your assessment is done, we tailor and exercise program for you that usually includes aerobic and resistance training to improve core/muscle strength, balance and flexibility.
